The Broad Street Bar is a bare steel bar, which allows the metal to develop a patina over time. This allows for a unique feel and finish. This bar requires regular maintenance and care as moisture, skin oils, and chalk will lead to the development of surface rust.

York Broad Street Bar Maintenance Instructions

1. Brush the bar down with a Nylon Bristle Brush to get everything caked into your bar out.
2. Apply 3-in1 oil in streaks along your knurling. The more rust you notice the more oil you will need.
3. Grab your Nylon Bristle Brush and start scrubbing the area that you just placed the oil. Your goal is to evenly spread the oil to help penetrate any rust spots.
4. Wipe off any excess lubricant.
5. Set a New PR with your cleaned bar!
